On April 23, 2025, OS Management reaches end of life (EOL). Effective now, the service is no longer available to you in regions where you are not already using OS Management, or to new users with new tenancies. Resolving Incompatible Managed Instances

Some OS Management managed instances might be incompatible with OS Management Hub. Use the migration assistant to identify incompatibilities and resolve any issues before migration.

Managed instances can be incompatible with OS Management Hub for the following reason:

Instance is a member of more than one group

OS Management Hub requires that an instance be a member of only one group.

If an instance is detected as being a member of more than one group, the migration assistant reports the following issue and suggests the following action:

ISSUE: This instance is a member of more than one OSMS group.
ACTION: Remove the instance from all but one OSMS group. At migration time, you can attach the instance to an OSMH group.
