Working with Integration Tasks

An integration task lets you take a Data Integration data flow and configure the parameter values you want to use at runtime.

By default, all integration tasks that you create in Data Integration are configured to run in the OCI Data Integration service. No other configuration is needed.

When creating or editing an integration task, you have the option to update the task's run configuration for running the task in the OCI Data Flow service. To run a task in the Data Flow service, ensure that the prerequisite resources and policies have been created, and the task's run configuration is edited appropriately for OCI Data Flow.
