Renaming a Load Balancer Log

Rename an access or error log for a load balancer.

Using the Console

  1. On the Load balancers list page, find the load balancer that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the load balancer, see Listing Load Balancers.
  2. On the load balancer's details page, select Logs.
  3. On the load balancer's details page, select Logs.
  4. In the Logs section, select the link under Log name. The log's Details page appears.
    You're taken to the Logging service. The log's details page opens.
  5. On the log's details page, select Edit.
  6. Edit any of the following settings:
    • Log name: Change the name of the log.
    • Log retention: Select a different log retention period from the list.
  7. Click Save Changes.
