Enable Database Management to monitor DB systems and obtain meaningful insights from metrics, and use Performance Hub to quickly diagnose performance issues.
Note
You cannot enable database management on an Always Free DB system.
Open the navigation menu and select Databases. Under HeatWave MySQL, select DB systems.
Choose your compartment from the List scope.
In the list of DB systems, select the name of the DB system to open the DB system details page.
To disable Database Management on the DB system, do the following:
Find the Database Management field under Associated services, select Disable.
In the Disable Database Management dialog box, select Disable.
The DB system enters the Updating state and Database Management is disabled.
To enable Database Management on the DB system, do the following:
Find the Database Management field under Associated services, select Enable.
In the Enable Database Management dialog box, select Enable.
The DB system enters the Updating state and Database Management is enabled. Once Database Management is enabled, you can monitor your HeatWave fleet or a single DB system, and use Performance Hub to monitor and troubleshoot SQL performance.
