Manage Access and Assign Roles
You give people access to Oracle Integration and its related resources by assigning policies and roles to groups of users. You perform these tasks in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Before you start creating groups and assigning policies and roles, you should understand some key concepts:
- Get to know the key features and components of IAM. See About Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management.
- Understand who might need access to what, by familiarizing yourself with the resources that can require permissions, and the people and resources who require those permissions. See Learn About Users and Resources in Securing Oracle Integration 3.
- Familiarize yourself with the IAM Policies for Oracle Integration. Use this information to help you plan the groups and access needed for users who will create and configure Oracle Integration instances and manage the lifecycle of those instances.
- Familiarize yourself with the Oracle Integration Service Roles. Use this information to help you plan the groups and access needed for users who will design and monitor integrations.
After reviewing the key concepts of access management, you can perform the tasks needed to manage access to Oracle Integration.
