Scheduling RFC

Learn how to schedule RFC.

After successful creation of RFC, if the Primary Contact (requester) is an Authorized Approver, the Schedule Refresh popup prompts you to proceed with scheduling refresh options:

  1. To schedule RFC, click Yes. You're directed to the Scheduling Calendar.
    1. Click the calendar icon next to Schedule Refresh to see the UTC calendar.
    2. Select the date only after 48 hours from current date up to 3 months ahead of current date.
    3. Click the clock icon and select 2 a.m or 10 a.m UTC as the time slot.
    4. Click Done. The scheduled time is displayed.
      Note

      • If you select a time other than 2 a.m or 10 a.m UTC, an error message appears stating you can't proceed with scheduling the refresh.
      • If there are any conflicts between RFCs after the selection of date and time, the conflicted RFC number along with other details is displayed at the bottom of the screen, and this disables the Approve button.
    5. Click Approve and the RFC is scheduled successfully.
  2. If you don't intend to schedule RFC, click No in the Schedule Refresh popup. You're redirected to the Refresh/Listing page.
  3. (Optional) If you want to schedule the RFC after clicking No, click the Target Instance number from the list of created and scheduled refreshes. You're redirected to the scheduling page. Perform the steps provided in step 1 to schedule the refresh.

If the Primary Contact (requested) is not an Authorized Approver, the RFC is created in Ready for Scheduling/Approver until it is approved.
