Using Fleet Application Management
Fleet Application Management allows for the management of application stacks, including grouping resources based on defined criteria, identifying vulnerabilities, scanning for compliance, and providing remediation.
Fleet Application Management aims to offer services for authoring automated runbooks for performing application lifecycle management operations.
The Fleet Application Management
Overview page provides the following information:
- Summary of fleets, jobs, compliance status of targets, resources managed by Fleet Application Management. Initially, the summary information displays a total count of zero. After you create fleets and add resources to be managed by Fleet Application Management, the lifecycle management operations progress and the summary information is updated. The summary information provides the following:
- Fleets: Displays the total number of active fleets and the number of compliant and noncompliant ones.
- Software compliance status of targets: Displays the total number of compliant and noncompliant targets.
- Managed Resources: Displays the total number of managed resources and targets in the tenancy.
- Jobs: Displays all running and upcoming lifecycle operation jobs.
- Links to all primary fleet tasks: Click Create fleet, Create maintenance window, Create schedule quick links and start these tasks.
- Announcements such as the latest patches available for a product: You can find all the latest patch announcements and the dates when they were applied. To learn more about an announcement, click an announcement link under Announcements.
- Links to important documentation tasks in Fleet Application Management.
