Autonomous Database

Oracle recommends taking a backup of your databases before deleting an Autonomous Database to prevent any potential data loss.

Note

Once your database is deleted, the stored data cannot be recovered if you don't have a backup.

Autonomous Container Database

Learn how to delete an Autonomous Container Database from the OCI console.

  1. From the OCI console, select Oracle Autonomous Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure, and then select Autonomous Container Databases.

  2. Select your database that you want to delete, and then select the Terminate button.
