Updating an Identity Provider Policy

Update an identity provider (IdP policy for an identity domain in IAM.

You can update the following values for an IdP policy:

  • Change the name of the policy

  • Add, change the priority of, edit, and remove rules for the policy

  • Add IdPs and apps to the policy

  • Remove IdPs and apps from the policy

To update an IdP policy, follow these steps:

  1. On the Identity provider (IdP) policies list page, find and select the policy to edit. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Identity Provider Policies.
  2. Select Edit IdP policy and enter your change.
  3. On the policies details page, add, edit, or delete identity provider rules, or add or remove apps assigned to the policy. For more information about adding or editing rules, see Adding Identity Provider Rules to a Policy.
