Resource Analytics is now in General Availability

We're thrilled to announce the general availability of OCI Resource Analytics.

Resource Analytics is an inventory of OCI resources, their relationships, and configuration metadata.

You can access near-real-time, detailed information on monitored resources with SQL queries, graph-based visualizations, and analytics dashboards. Resource Analytics provisions Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and, optionally, an Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) instance in your tenancy, letting you import datasets and dashboards to track the inventory, monitor compliance, and troubleshoot. The ADW maintains a best-practice relational model of OCI resources, including a property graph that lets you analyze resources and their associations in Graph Studio, and continuously ingests resource updates across the regions and tenancies you specify.
Altogether, you have:
Direct SQL connections
All the existing interfaces for connecting to an Autonomous Data Warehouse are available. .
Built-in analytics
An optional preconfigured Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) instance with a semantic model, along with prebuilt dashboards and reports.
Third-party data integration
You can bring custom datasets by importing the data into a separate schema in ADW. Then, these custom datasets can be merged with Resource Analytics datasets for enriched insights.
Visualization
Intuitive graph visualization enabled through Graph Studio with preconfigured maps and notebooks to explore resources and their interdependencies.

Added new Subject Areas and enhanced the existing ones

Addition of Tags and DBaaS Backup subject Area to OAC. Enhanced NLB and LBaaS Subject Area to have fact metrics.

Added new dimensions: block boot volume, vlan, vnic and subnet to Compute Subject Area.

DBaaS Subject area now has OCPUs Enabled Count metric to Dbaas Exadata Cluster Fact.

DBaaS ADB has Lifecycle State and Vm Name to Autonomous Virtual Machine.
Addition of new Associations, Attributes and Paragraphs

Base Database Backup Association now available in OCIRA DBaaS Explorer for visualizing backup(Base Database Backup) relationships.

Subnet and Load Balancer Association now available in OCIRA Network Explorer for enhanced network relationship visibility.

A new paragraph has been introduced in the Network Explorer notebook offering a unified view of the associations between a subnet and its connected Databases, alongside the relationships between the subnet and Compute instances.

All Notebooks now include a Resource URL for quick navigation to OCI Console.
