Oracle Data Safe now supports Active Data Guard associated databases on Amazon RDS for Oracle and non-Oracle compute instances

  • Services: Data Safe
  • Release Date: February 05, 2025

You can now register an Active Data Guard associated Amazon RDS for Oracle database or an Oracle database on a non-Oracle compute instance as an Oracle Data Safe target database. During target registration you submit information for which of the standby databases you would like to register with the primary database. In Activity Auditing you can now also collect audit records from your primary and standby databases. For more information on registering an Active Data Guard associated database, see Register an Amazon RDS for Oracle database and Run the Oracle Databases on Compute Wizard in the Administering Oracle Data Safe guide. For more information on Activity Auditing for Active Data Guard associated databases, see View and Manage Audit Trails in the Using Oracle Data Safe guide.
