Notable Changes

The following changes are notable in this image update:

  • Updates for bug fixes and security patches.
  • Provides a fix for DHCP lease not being obtained after SmartNIC reboot in oci-linux-config 2.0-1.0.20.
  • Fixes inconsistent network device naming on GPU shapes with PCI bridge devices.

Security and Compliance

Oracle Linux platform images are based on the most recent release of Oracle Linux and are updated monthly. If you need to confirm the status of certifications, such as FIPS 140-3 or Common Criteria, see the Oracle Security Evaluations page for the latest information. FIPS mode is not enabled in Oracle Linux platform images. To modify this setting, see the FIPS section of the Oracle Linux Security Guide under Oracle Linux documentation or contact support for assistance.
