Note

On January 1, 2025, Oracle Linux 7 moved from Premier Support to Oracle Linux Extended Support. Oracle Cloud customers using Oracle Linux are entitled to both Premier Support and Extended Support (when offered).   • Includes all updates as of September 23, 2020.
  • Drops the ip=single-dhcp kernel command-line parameter and adds the following kernel command-line parameters:
    • ip=dhcp
    • rd.net.timeout.dhcp=10
    • rd.net.timeout.carrier=5
  • Fixes oci-utils bugs that caused the oci-public-ip and oci-iscsi-config utiltiies to fail.
  • Fixes an issue with iscsi-initiator-utils that caused Oracle Clusterware initial login failures on reboot resulting in start delays (Bug ID 31813824).
