Restoring an Autonomous AI Database is available through the OCI Console and Google Cloud Console.

    Point-in-Time Restore
    1. From the Oracle Database@Google Cloud dashboard, select Autonomous AI Database.
    2. From the list, select your Autonomous AI Database, and then select Backups tab. This screenshot shows how to restore to timestamp.
    3. Select the Restore to timestamp button and complete the following substeps:
      1. Select the Date, Time and Timezone within the retention window for restore process.
        Note

        1. Restoring the database to a previous timestamp permanently overwrites all current data and logs, including existing point-in-time recovery logs. This action is irreversible.
        2. Verify your encryption key management type and active keys before proceeding. The restoration process may revert these settings. If your backup is encrypted with a Customer-Managed Encryption Key (CMEK), ensure that the service account for your Autonomous AI Database still has the necessary permissions for the CMEK key. If the required permissions are not granted, the database will become UNAVAILABLE after restore. For more information, see CMEK.
      2. Enter your Autonomous AI Database ID to confirm the restore process.
      3. Select the Restore button to start the restore process.
