Editing a Custom Software Source

• On the Software Sources list page, select the name of the software source.

  Edit name or description 🔗

  From the main buttons, select Edit.

  • Name: Enter a name for the custom software source. You can change the name at any time. The name doesn't need to be unique, because an Oracle Cloud Identifier (OCID) uniquely identifies the custom software source.

  • Description: (Optional) Enter a description for the custom software source.

  Select Save changes.

  Next to the Latest content only: field, select Edit.

  • Enabled: The software source will contains only the latest versions of packages based on your filters or package list.

  • Disable: The software source will contain all versions of packages within constraints of your filters or package list.

  Select Change.

  Next to the Auto updated: field, select Edit.

  • Enabled: The software source automatically updates package versions within constraints of your filters or package list.

  • Disable: The software source package versions won't be updated.

  Select Change.

• Use the oci os-management-hub software-source update-custom-swsrc command and required parameters to update a custom software source, such as editing its basic details.

  oci os-management-hub software-source update-custom-swsrc --software-source-id ocid --display-name name --description description [OPTIONS]
