Attaching a Private Endpoint

You attach a private endpoint to a Data Flow Application to enable the Application to run using the configured private network.

You can attach only one private endpoint to an Application, but you can attach a private endpoint to many Applications. Before you attach a private endpoint to an Application, you must create a private endpoint.

  • Follow these steps in the Console to attach a private endpoint.

    1. On the Data Flow page, in the left-side menu, select Applications. If you need help finding the Data Flow page, see Listing Applications.
    2. Select the name of the Application.
    3. On the Application details page, select Edit.
    4. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit application panel, and select Show advanced options.
    5. In the Choose network access section, select Secure access to private subnet.
    6. Select the private endpoint that you want to attach to the Application. Select Change compartment if it's in a different compartment to the Application.
    7. Select Save changes.
