Enabling Logging for Compute Cloud@Customer
Learn how to enable Compute Cloud@Customer logs in your OCI tenancy.

In the Oracle Cloud Console navigation menu, select Observability & Management.

Under Logging, select Logs.
 - Under Compartment, select the compartment where your Compute Cloud@Customer infrastructure is located.
 - 
Select Enable service log.
The Enable Resource Log panel is displayed.
 - 
Enter the following information:
- Service: Select Compute Cloud at Customer.
 - Resource: Select the name of the infrastructure for which you want to enable logs.
 - Log Category: Select a predefined log category.
 - Log Name: Enter a log name. Avoid entering confidential information.

(Optional) Select Show Advanced Options to configure the following options:
- Log Location: Create or change the log group that this log belongs to.
 - Log Retention: Change the default 30 day retention period.
 - Add Tags: Apply any tags that you use to organize resources.

Select Enable Log.
Compute Cloud@Customer logging is enabled.
 
After logging is enabled, you can select the link under Log name or Log group to view the log details or log group details pages.
