Setting Event Collection for an Instance
Enable or disable event collection for an Autonomous Linux instance. When enabled the instance collects critical event data and sends it to the service.

- Under List scope, select the compartment that contains the instance.
- Select the name of the instance.
- Click Edit next to Event collection.
- Select Automatic upload to enable event collection. Or, clear the check box to disable it.
- Click Save changes.
Use the oci os-management-hub managed-instance update command and required parameters to update event collection settings of the instance.

Run the UpdateManagedInstance operation to edit event collection settings for the instance.
