Before installing the OCI Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Plug-in for Visual Studio Code, you must perform the following tasks:

• As with any Oracle client, obtain an API signing key. For guidance, see How to Generate an API Signing Key.
• Install the OCI Core extension, which is available from the Visual Studio Marketplace.
• Confirm that an APM domain has already been created. For information, see Create an APM Domain.
