Create an On-premise Vantage Point

You must complete all the prerequisite tasks before you create an On-premise Vantage Point. For information, see Perform On-premise Vantage Point Prerequisite Tasks.
To create an On-premise Vantage Point:
  1. Open the navigation menu, click Observability & Management. Under Application Performance Monitoring, click Availability Monitoring.
    The Availability Monitoring page is displayed.
  2. Go to Resources, located in the left menu, and click On-premise Vantage Points.
    The On-premise Vantage Point page is displayed.
  3. Go to Scope, and select the desired Compartment and APM Domain.
  4. Click Create On-premise Vantage Point.
    The Create On-premise Vantage Point is displayed.
  5. Enter the On-premise Vantage Point information.
    • Name: Enter a unique name for the On-premise Vantage Point. This name will be used to register the On-premise Vantage Point with an APM Domain.
    • Description: Enter a description for the On-premise Vantage Point.
  6. Click Create.
