Managing a Protected Resource's Security Attributes

Manage a protected resource's security attributes in the Zero Trust Packet Routing (ZPR) service.

  1. On the Protected Resources list page, find the resource that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Protected Resources.

You can filter by compartment, security attribute namespace, and resource type to narrow the list of resources.

  2. Select the checkbox next to the resource that you want to manage security attributes for.
    Tip

You can select more than one resource to apply the same security attribute to all selected resources.
  3. Select Manage security attribute. A panel displays the security attributes that are applied to the resource that you selected.
  4. (Optional) To add a security attribute to a resource, click Add security attribute.
    Caution

When you apply a security attribute to a resource, you must have a policy in place to allow access to the resource. Without the policy, the resource with the security attribute is inaccessible.
  5. (Optional) Edit the security attribute value type for any existing security attribute. To change the security attribute namespace and security attribute, you must add a new security attribute.
  6. From the Action menu for an existing attribute, you can select to remove that attribute from the resource or apply it to any other resources that you selected.
  7. Select Review.
  8. Select Apply changes.
