Adding a Resource to Zero Trust Packet Routing

Apply a security attribute to a resource in the Zero Trust Packet Routing (ZPR) service.

Caution

You can create a security attribute without a ZPR policy in place, but you must define a ZPR policy before you apply a security attribute to a resource. Otherwise the resource is rendered inaccessible despite any existing security lists or NSG (network security group)  rules.
  1. On the Protected Resources list page, select Add security attribute to resources. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Protected Resources.

The Select resource page opens and displays a list of available resources to add a security attribute to.

    Tip

You can filter the list of resources by compartment and resource type.
  2. Select one or more resources to add a security attribute to.
  3. Select Next.
  4. Select the security attribute namespace that contains the security attribute, and then select the security attribute.
  5. Enter the security attribute value.
  6. (Optional) Select Add security attribute to add another security attribute to the resource.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Review the resource information, and select Submit.
