Getting a Data Source's Details in Generative AI Agents

  1. On the Knowledge Bases list page, select the knowledge base that you want to get its data source details.
    If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Knowledge Bases.
  2. Select the name of the knowledge base that you want to see its data source details.
  3. Select the name of the data source that you want to see details for.
  4. View the following details in the Data source information tab:
    • Basic information such as the data source OCID, display name, description, compartment OCID
    • Creator
    • Creation date and time
    • Whether multi-modal parsing is enabled. Enable multi-modal parsing when the data sources include charts and diagrams with information for the agent.
    • The data source type: OCI_OBJECT_STORAGE
    • A link to the bucket that includes the files for this data source
    • Object prefixes: The name of the files and folders that are included for this data source. The files and folders in a bucket are called the bucket's objects.
  5. View the Ingestion jobs for this data source.

  6. Select the Tags tab to see any tags associated with this data source.
