Deleting an API Endpoint Calling Tool in Generative AI Agents

  1. On the Agents list page, select the agent that has the API endpoint calling tool you want to delete.
    If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Agents
  2. In the Tools list of the agent, select the name of the tool that you want to delete.
    An API endpoint calling tool is identified by the type HTTP_ENDPOINT_TOOL_CONFIG.
  3. On the tool details page, verify that this is the tool that you want to delete and select Delete.
  4. In the Delete tool dialog, enter the name of the tool and select Delete.
    The lifecycle state of the tool changes from Active to Deleting to Deleted.
  5. In the Tools list on the agent details page, verify that the lifecycle state of the tool that you deleted is shown as Deleted.
