Updating a Credential Name

Update a custom credential name in Fleet Application Management.

If you update a credential name that's associated with a product, the name is also updated in the product definition.

You can't update an Oracle-defined credential name.

1. Open the navigation menu and select Observability & Management. Under Fleet Application Management, select Administration.
2. Under Metadata management (on the left side of the page), click Credential names.
3. Select the checkbox next to the credential name that you want to update, and then select Edit.

  To find a credential by name, enter its name in the Search field.
4. In the Edit panel, update the credential name. Avoid entering confidential information.
5. Click Save changes.
Use the oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-admin platform-configuration update-platform-configuration-credential-config-category-details command and required parameters to update a credential name:
