Properties in Fleet Application Management

Fleet Application Management contains two types of properties:

• Platform configuration property: This property is defined by Fleet Application Management and available for use. You can't delete this property. However, you can use and update it. The property is as follows:

  Patch Bucket Name (Platform Config): Specifies the Object Storage bucket  name where the Oracle WebLogic Server patches are uploaded, and Fleet Application Management can access these patches and apply them.

• Fleet Application Management administrator-defined properties: These properties are taxonomies you create using business terminology and a metadata classification that you can define for your business operations, for example, financial ownership, cost center of an organization, and business-critical applications (tier-1, tier-2 applications.) The cost center property can further have several cost centers as selection values for various units of an organization. You can associate any of these properties with a fleet.
