Monitoring Exadata Services

Oracle Database@Azure provides a mechanism within Microsoft Azure to monitor Exadata Services. Azure is responsible for collection and storage of observability data.

Metrics for successfully provisioned Oracle Exadata VM Clusters can be seen as follows:
  1. Follow the steps to Access the Resource Blade.
  2. Select the Oracle Exadata VM Cluster tab.
  3. In the Name field, select the link for an Available Exadata VM Cluster.
  4. In the left-menu, select Monitoring > Metrics.
  5. You will be able to view all supported metrics under the Monitoring tab of the provisioned Exadata VM Cluster.

Exadata Services Metrics Resources

Metrics published by OCI Oracle Exadata VM Cluster will be available with the following exceptions.

Note: Any metric available under the namespaces oracle_oci_database, oci_database, or oci_database_cluster but not mentioned in Metrics for Exadata Cloud Infrastructure in the Database Management Service or Metrics for Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure in the Monitoring Service will not be published to Azure.
