Exadata VM Cluster

Deleting an Exadata Container Database (CDB) and Pluggable Database (PDB) are not prerequisites to delete an Exadata VM Cluster. Once you delete your Exadata VM Cluster, all your CDB(s) and PDB(s) within the cluster will be deleted. Oracle recommends taking a backup of your databases before deleting the Exadata VM Cluster to prevent any potential data loss.

These are the steps to delete an Exadata VM Cluster

  1. From the Oracle Database@AWS dashboard, select Exadata VM clusters.
  2. Select your Exadata VM cluster that you want to delete, and then select the Delete button.
