Viewing Work Requests

View the work requests initiated for Data Catalog operations.

1. Open the navigation menu and select Analytics & AI. Under Data Lake, select Data Catalog.
2. On the Data Catalog service page, select Work Requests.
3. On the Work Requests page, from the list of work requests, review the operations and their status, start, and end time.
To view the log or error messages of an operation, follow these steps:
1. Select the operation for which you want to see the log or error messages.
2. In the Work Request Detail page, from the Details section on the leftmost navigation pane, select one of the following options:
  
  Log Messages: View the log messages. To view the complete message, select the Actions menu (three dots).
  
  Error Messages: View the error messages. To view the complete message, select the Actions menu (three dots).

Use the list command and required parameters to view the work requests in a compartment:
oci data-catalog work-request list [OPTIONS]
