Deleting Instances

Delete a data catalog instance.

1. On the Data Catalogs page, click the Actions menu (three dots) for the instance that you want to delete. If you need help finding the Data Catalog page, see Viewing Created Instances.
2. Select Terminate.
3. In the Terminate dialog box, type Delete to confirm the delete of data catalog instance, and then select Terminate.
The data catalog instance goes into a Deleting state and all the resources in the data catalog are permanently deleted.
Use the delete command and required parameters to delete a data catalog:
oci data-catalog catalog delete [OPTIONS]
