Create an alarm on any metric query to send email to a specified user when the metric query is triggered.

On the Clusters list page, select the cluster that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the cluster, see Listing Clusters in a Compartment.

To create an alarm, complete one of the following:
- To create a cluster metric alarm, select Cluster metrics under Resources.
or
- To create a node metric alarm, select the node you want to create the alarm for.

In the query window that you want to create the alarm for, select Options and then select Create an alarm on this query.
