Getting an Artifact's Details in Artifact Registry

Get details about a specific artifact in Artifact Registry.

• 1. Open the navigation menu and click Developer Services. Under Containers & Artifacts, click Artifact Registry.
  2. Under List scope, choose the compartment that contains the repositories.
  3. Click the name of the repository that contains the artifact.
  4. Under Artifacts, find the artifact that you want to see details for.
  5. For the artifact, view the following details:
     • Name
     • Artifact path
     • Version
     • State
       • Available
       • Deleted
     • Result of the 256-bit Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA256) digest applied to the artifact when it was uploaded to the repository. The options for this field are:
       • Copy
       • Show
     • Size
     • Creation date and time
  6. To get an artifact's OCID, click the Actions menu for the artifact and then click Copy OCID.

• To view an artifact's details, use the artifacts generic artifact resource, referenced in Artifact Registry CLI.

  Use one of following commands to view an artifact's details:

  • get
  • get-by-path

  Provide the Artifact OCID

  Provide the Repository OCID, Artifact Path, and Version

• You can get information about an artifact in two ways:

  • Provide the artifact OCID in GetGenericArtifact.
  • Provide the repository OCID, artifact path, and version in GetGenericArtifactByPath.
