Creating and Extending a Private Offer to a Customer

A private offer is created by a person in the publisher's company who has been authorized and granted privileges to create and extend a private offer to the customer.

To create and extend the private offer to a customer, the authorized publisher performs the following actions:

  • Using the Prerequisites for Private Offers, the publisher creates the private offer. They can create the private offer as a draft for review before it’s extended to the customer. The private offer can be updated as often as the publisher wants until it’s ready to be extended to the customer for acceptance.
  • When the information is considered accurate and ready for customer acceptance, the offer is submitted as final by the authorized publisher. The resulting final version of the offer is reviewed by the OCI Marketplace team (within a 24-hour business day) to ensure that it meets all program criteria. After confirmation of the private offer, a notification is sent to the customer that the private offer is available for their review and acceptance.
  • If the customer has any issues with the private offer before acceptance, they can write to the email address provided in the private offer. If the resolution requires a change to the private offer, it can be withdrawn, updated, and resubmitted for customer acceptance.
