Console Publishing

Console publishing allows publishers to create listings within the OCI Console by using Publisher Service. It delivers a simpler, more secure OCI-native publishing workflow with console UI, tenancy authentication, and consolidated listing lifecycle management.

Note

Partner Portal has been deprecated. You have been redirected to the OCI Console Publishing documentation Page. The legacy Partner Portal for Oracle Cloud Marketplace is no longer accessible. All publisher activities must now take place in the OCI Console using Console Publishing.

What to do next

For new Marketplace partners:

  1. Onboard to become a partner by following the steps outlined here: https://cloudmarketplace.oracle.com/marketplace/en_US/partnerLandingPage.
  2. Confirm OCI tenancy readiness.

    • When creating the tenancy, we recommend choosing US East (Ashburn) as the Home Region. At a minimum, the tenancy must be subscribed to US East (Ashburn) as one of its regions.
    • Paid or PAYG tenancy is recommended to avoid trial expiration interruptions. No charges are incurred unless you use billable services.
    • Add Marketplace policies using the Deploy to Oracle Cloud workflow: https://github.com/oracle-quickstart/oci-marketplace-setup.
  3. Access Marketplace Publisher in the Console.

    • Open the navigation menu  and select Marketplace. Under Publisher, select Listings.
    • Select the compartment where you want to create Marketplace listings.
    • Follow the steps here to create a lead generation (Application Listing).
    • Follow the steps here to create a OCI Application listing with a deployable artifact including images, containers or stacks.
    • Follow the steps here to create a Service listing.
For existing Marketplace partners:
  1. Sign in to the OCI Console.

  2. Confirm OCI tenancy readiness.
    • Select the US East (Ashburn) region to manage listings in Console. You can subscribe to US East (Ashburn) by following these steps.
    • In the OCI Console, go to Marketplace in the Hamburger menu then Listings under Publisher.
    • Select the root compartment.
    • You should now see all the migrated listings that can be managed.
    • To create a new listing revision. Follow the steps outlined here.

If you did not receive our migration notices and your listings are missing in your OCI tenancy, or you do not yet have a tenancy, follow the steps below to create one and then contact us.

Create an OCI tenancy

  1. Go to https://cloud.oracle.com.
  2. Select Sign Up under Not an Oracle Cloud customer yet?
  3. Enter and verify your email, then follow the link you receive.
  4. Set your password and provide company details, Cloud Account Name, and select Ashburn as your Home Region to manage listings in Console.
  5. Provide address, phone, and payment details, accept the terms. You can start on Free Tier, but we recommend converting to Paid or Pay as You Go to avoid expiration.
  6. Wait for the provisioning confirmation email.

Then email ocmpartnerships_ww@oracle.com with:

  • Tenancy OCID
  • Partner ID (if known)
  • OPN Number
  • Partner Name

We will migrate your listings.

Thank you for being a valued Oracle Cloud Marketplace partner and for the support during this transition to the OCI Console. We appreciate your continued partnership.
