Subscriptions and Payment Failure
When failing to pay your Oracle Universal Credits bill, access to OCI services and resources can be restricted based on your subscriptions.
When a customer fails to pay their bill but only has an Oracle Universal Credits subscription, then the tenancy and cloud account, and all associated resources, are suspended.
If a customer has both Oracle Universal Credits and non-Oracle Universal Credits subscriptions, however, then the following conditions apply until the bill is paid:
- The tenancy and cloud account remain active.
- The tenancy has reduced limits and can't start any new resources, and can only use resources not covered by Oracle Universal Credits.
- Any existing Compute resources tied to the Oracle Universal Credits subscription are stopped, nor can any new Compute or Virtual Cloud Network resources be started.
