oracle.oci.oci_database_exadata_infrastructure – Manage an ExadataInfrastructure resource in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure¶
Note
This plugin is part of the oracle.oci collection (version 5.5.0).
You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible package.
It is not included in ansible-core.
To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list.
To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install oracle.oci.
To use it in a playbook, specify: oracle.oci.oci_database_exadata_infrastructure.
New in version 2.9.0: of oracle.oci
Synopsis¶
This module allows the user to create, update and delete an ExadataInfrastructure resource in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
For state=present, creates an Exadata infrastructure resource. Applies to Exadata Cloud@Customer instances only. To create an Exadata Cloud Service infrastructure resource, use the CreateCloudExadataInfrastructure operation.
This resource has the following action operations in the oracle.oci.oci_database_exadata_infrastructure_actions module: activate, add_storage_capacity, change_compartment, download_exadata_infrastructure_config_file.
Requirements¶
The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.
python >= 3.6

If this 'auth_type' module option is not specified, the value of the OCI_ANSIBLE_AUTH_TYPE, if any, is used. Use auth_type="instance_principal" to use instance principal based authentication when running ansible playbooks within an OCI compute instance. |

Whether to attempt non-idempotent creation of a resource. By default, create resource is an idempotent operation, and doesn't create the resource if it already exists. Setting this option to true, forcefully creates a copy of the resource, even if it already exists. This option is mutually exclusive with key_by.

Indicates whether cps offline diagnostic report is enabled for this Exadata infrastructure. This will allow a customer to quickly check status themselves and fix problems on their end, saving time and frustration for both Oracle and the customer when they find the CPS in a disconnected state. You can enable offline diagnostic report during Exadata infrastructure provisioning. You can also disable or enable it at any time using the UpdateExadatainfrastructure API.

Weeks during the month when maintenance should be performed. Weeks start on the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd days of the month, and have a duration of 7 days. Weeks start and end based on calendar dates, not days of the week. For example, to allow maintenance during the 2nd week of the month (from the 8th day to the 14th day of the month), use the value 2. Maintenance cannot be scheduled for the fifth week of months that contain more than 28 days. Note that this parameter works in conjunction with the daysOfWeek and hoursOfDay parameters to allow you to specify specific days of the week and hours that maintenance will be performed.
